An archeologist is someone who studies about different kinds of people and things they did in the past from the artifacts that they left behind. Examples of artifacts that archeologists study can be a variety of things such as beads and arrowheads made by Native Americans or or old coins left behind by an ancient civilizations.

Everyone has images of being Indiana Jones in their heads, and while being a real archeologist is more painstaking excavation than actually outrunning giant boulder traps, there are still a lot of people who would like to go into this field.
